Once upon a time, there was an old traditional dairy farm in Haute-Savoie that changed/developed over the years.
The farmer’s passion for sheep enables the farm work to go on. In summertime, the sheep go up in the mountain. This way, we can keep a small flock on a green area that shrinks by the day. Since 1989, we have been welcoming at the farm groups of children, sometimes even of adults, who take part in the rural life without visiting a museum.

Demonstrations of farm work such as:

• Home-made cheese
• Home-made bread
• Care of animals

Or of long ago:

• Sheep shearing and use of the spinning wheel
• Use of the horse or the donkey for traction or packsaddle
• Team
• Home-made apple juice

The other animals help to keep the farming spirit alive.

• Bizet Thône and Marthod, Ravas sheep
• Alpacas, ponies, donkey
• Halflinger and comtois horses
• Fowls, rabbits, guinea pigs

Since 2003, the farmer’s circle has enlarged and it’s now with the family that life at the farm goes on....
